Bobby H. Caldwell (March 12, 1934 - December 11, 2023) was born in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, one of two schools for Blacks at the time (Lincoln High School was the other). Bobby remained an active member of the Washington-Lincoln Alumni Association (WLAA) Houston Chapter for many years. He was chapter president for 20 of those years and Membership Committee Chair for the last three (2020-2023). WLAA was dear to Bobby Caldwell's heart; therefore, at his request, 50% of proceeds from the sale of his autobiography will be donated to Washington-Lincoln Alumni Association Houston Chapter for scholarships.
